Career and Academic Opportunities

The IHS/MSHMI pathway provides a valuable opportunity for students to apply and enhance their skills as they relate to information technology, data analytics, health care delivery processes, and management. Graduates of the IHS/MSHMI pathway will be able to use their enhanced knowledge and skills in a variety of health care careers. These include careers include medical informatics, information technology, project managers, healthcare developers, and analysts.

Double Owl Admission Requirements 
  • 3.50 GPA in all KSU coursework
  • 60 hours towards the Bachelor's degree
  • at least 12 hours at KSU
Double Counted Courses Include
  • HMI 7510 to count for Upper Division Major Elective
  • HMI 7520 to count for Upper Division Major Elective
