projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), job growth should increase
by 21% through 2028, much faster than the national average. Software engineers can
find employment in almost any industry.
Software engineering is synonymous with innovation, new programming tools lead to
inexplicable dilemmas that demand professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills
to solve them.
The accelerated pathway not only will help students getting their graduate degrees
faster but also WILL enrich their career options by allowing graduates to start at
a higher rank in their software engineering career.

Once students meet, or are close to meeting, the credit hour requirements listed below, they should speak with a College of Computing and Software Engineering Academic Advisor about applying to the Double Owl Pathway.
Junior Year (students have completed at least 60 credit hours): Apply to the Double Owl pathway here.
Senior Year (students have completed at least 90 credit hours): Apply to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Program (see below)

Admission to Double Owl requirements
- GPA: 3.25 in KSU undergraduate coursework
- 60 hours completed toward Bachelors degree
- 30 hours completed in residence at KSU
- Recommendation letters from 2 KSU faculty
- Letters should be sent to Dr. Paola Spoletini at pspoleti@kennesaw.edu
